GNLU or Gujarat National Law University is situated at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The university was established in the year 2003 by the Gujarat National Law University Act, but the university was inaugurated in the month of July, 2004. GNLU provides 5 years program to the students who take admission into this college. The courses which are offered by GNLU are B.A, LL.B (Hons.), B.Com, LL.B (Hons.) and B.Sc, LL.B (Hons.). National University of Advanced Legal Studies i.e. NUALS is a very new inclusion among the LAW colleges of India. NUALS was established by the Kerala Legislature in the year 2005 i.e. three year back this LAW school came into being. NUALS offers 5 years BA, LLB (Hons.) course to the aspiring candidates. A separate exam is conducted to take admission to the LLB course. The total number of seats is 65 of which only 5 seats are reserved for the outsiders i.e. non-Keralans.
