Entrance Exam 2009 India

All India Pre Veterinary Test or AIPVT is an examination which is conducted for taking admissions into five years A.H and B.V.Sc Degree Courses. The syllabus for the examination has not been prescribed by the University and will be same as that of the other medical entrance exams. The total intake is very less and is around 15% of the entire veterinary seats in India. So the success percentage of the students in this exam is very less.

Eligibility Criteria

•    Candidates must have passed class 12 exams with PCB, English and Mathematics as the main subjects. Candidates having any other elective subject other than Mathematics can also apply.
•    Minimum age for the candidates appearing in the examination is 17 years.
•    Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and  passing marks in English

Selection Procedure

Students get selected if they qualify in the examination whose duration is three hours and contains 200 MCQs i.e. Multiple Choice Questions. The paper is divided into three sections, physics, chemistry, and Biology. Physics and Chemistry contains 60 questions each while Biology portion contains 80 questions.
