Entrance Exam 2009 India

Aspirants prepare all year long for this special exam held for admission in medical, dental and veterinary streams. Though various others exams are held for admission in such courses but still this exam is considered as the best and consists of two stage, one preliminary and one final. Aspirants, who clear this exam, are then admitted in various medical colleges depending on their marks in both stages.

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants should have completed the age of 17 years and should not be over 25 years at 31st of December, as on the previous years of exam. He or she must have secured at least 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Higher Secondary Examination. In case the applicants are scheduled caste or scheduled tribe, he or she must have secured at least 40% in the above said exam. The applicants cannot give this exam more than three times in the specified age.

Selection Procedure

Aspirants after making through the written exam are called for personal interview, after which they are admitted in various medical colleges in medical, veterinary and dental streams. Various aspirants are also admitted through various reservations seats for those who have excelled in fields of arts, sports, literature and others spheres in various states of India.
