Biotechnology in Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering College, Tamil Nadu
Biotechnology, a well known upcoming course is provided by most of the engineering colleges in India. Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering College is one of the colleges in India which provide this course at the engineering level. Entrance tests for biotechnology courses are conducted by the college.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to follow the eligibility criteria for applying in the courses. The criteria are explained as follows: Firstly, candidates must be citizens of India. Secondly, candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination with a minimum of 65%. Thirdly, aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years as on 31st of December of the previous year of the present entrance examination.
Selection Procedure
Candidates are selected on the basis of a specific procedure. Candidates need to appear for a written entrance examination. After the selection of the candidate in the entrance examination, he or she needs to go through group discussions and finally an interview only then candidates will be selected for the course. There are reserved seats for candidates on the basis of merit.
