Biotechnology in Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu
Biotechnology is a lucrative course provided by most of the universities in India. Bharathidasan University is one of the universities which provide this course at the engineering level. The university is well known in Tamil Nadu and has attracted many students over the years. Entrance tests for biotechnology courses are conducted by the University.
Eligibility Criteria
According to the eligibility criteria, candidates applying for the university must be citizens of India. Secondly, candidates should have scored a minimum of 65% in their 10+2 examination. Lastly, aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years as on 31st of December of the previous year of the present entrance examination.
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure ensures that the best of the students are selected. The procedure starts with a written entrance test. If the candidate is selected then he or she needs to go through group discussions and finally an interview only then candidates will be selected for the course. There are reserved seats for SC/ST/OBBC candidates and on the basis of merit.
