Institute of Science and Technology is one of the biggest institutes of science. The institute has a department for biotechnology which is known as Centre for Biotechnology. The institute offers biotechnology programs in the masters level namely M.Tech. The college has specialized professors for the course. The college holds entrance tests for its courses including biotechnology.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be citizens of India. Candidates need to have science as their stream in their 10+2 Examination and should have passed with a minimum of 65%. The aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years of age. There is a high level competition amongst candidates to get qualified in this college.
Selection Procedure
A selection procedure makes the selection of candidates easier. Candidates need to appear a written examination for the course. If the candidates are selected in the entrance test, they need to go through the group discussions and an interview; only then candidates are selected for the course. The marks obtained in 10+2 Examination is taken into account for the admission.
