Biotechnology in Punjab University, Punjab
There are many universities in India which offers biotechnology courses to students. One of the universities is Punjab University which is one of the oldest universities in India. The university provides biotechnology courses in the degree and master level. The university holds entrance tests for its courses including biotechnology.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be citizens of India. Candidates from science stream can apply for the course. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 65% in their 10+2 Examination for the degree course and around 55% in their graduation for the master level course. The aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 25 years of age.
Selection Procedure
According to the selection procedure, candidates need to appear a written entrance test for the course. If the candidates are selected from the entrance test then he or she needs to go through group the discussions and an interview, only then candidates are selected for the course. It is a long and a serial process. Students from Punjab are given the first preference by the university.
