Biotechnology in Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Tamil Nadu
Biotechnology, a subject with a wide scope is driving the attention of many students for building a career in this stream. There are many colleges which provide biotechnology courses in India and one amongst them is Rajalakshmi Engineering College. It provides biotechnology courses at the engineering level and is under Tamil Nadu University. The college holds entrance tests for the biotechnology courses.
Eligibility Criteria
There are certain criteria under which the candidates are selected. Firstly, candidates must be citizens of India. Secondly, candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination and scored a minimum of 65%. Thirdly, aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years as on 31st of December of the previous year of the present entrance examination.
Selection Procedure
A selection procedure is improvised to select the candidates. A written entrance examination is compulsory. If the candidate is selected in the entrance examination then after the counseling he or she needs to go through the group discussions and then an interview, only then candidates will be selected for the course.
