Biotechnology in Saroj Institute of Technology, Uttar Pradesh
Biotechnology being a research oriented science opens the door for a lot of job opportunities. Saroj Institute of Technology is a well known college of Uttar Pradesh which provides biotechnology courses in the degree and master level. The college is situated in Lucknow and is under U.P. Technical University. The college holds entrance tests for its courses including biotechnology.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate seeking admission in biotechnology courses must have a background in science and should have scored a minimum of 65% in their 10+2 Examination. Aspirants must be citizens of India. The aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 26 years of age in order to apply for the courses.
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure begins with a written entrance test for the course. Candidates are also selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the 10+2 Examination. If the candidates are selected, then he or she needs to go through group discussions and finally an interview. Thus, candidates are selected for the course after the completion of the entire procedure.
