Biotechnology in Sri Nandhanam College of Engineering and Technology, Tamil Nadu
Biotechnology is a new subject which is booming up highly and attracting a lot of students. Sri Nandhanam College of Engineering and Technology situated in Vellore is one of the engineering colleges which provide biotechnology courses at the degree level. Entrance tests are conducted by the college for biotechnology courses.
Eligibility Criteria
The college has specific eligibility criteria for the candidates. The first priority is that the candidates must be citizens of India. Candidates should have passed 10+2 Examination and scored a minimum of 65%. Thirdly, aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years as on 31st of December of the previous year of the present entrance examination.
Selection Procedure
Candidates need to follow the selection procedure. Firstly, candidates need to appear for a written entrance examination for the course. After the entrance examination the candidates need to go through group discussions and then an interview after which candidates are selected. It is a long and serial process. There are reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC candidates and on the basis of merit.
