Vivekananda Education Society’s College for Arts, Science and Commerce is one of the reputed colleges of Mumbai. The college is under Vivekananda Education Society Trust. There are many colleges under this trust which are spread throughout the length and breadth of India. The college provides biotechnology courses in the degree level. The college holds entrance tests for its courses including biotechnology.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be citizens of India. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 65% in their 10+2 Examination. The aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 24 years. Students passing out from Maharashtra are allotted 55% of the seats and 45% seats are for students from other states.

Selection Procedure

A written entrance test is compulsory for the course. The marks obtained in 10+2 Examination is taken into account as well. If the candidates are selected, then he or she needs to go through the group discussions and an interview. Candidates are selected for the course after going through the entire procedure. There are reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC candidates on the basis of merit.
