Central Scientific Instruments Organization in Chandigarh has been offering a 2 year M.Tech course in Nanotechnology so that the students can excel and expertise in this fast developing field which has a huge demand in all possible fields- from medicine to aerospace, from engineering to chemical applications. It is an AICTE approved course.

Eligibility Criteria

The first and foremost eligibility criterion is that the applicant must be an Indian citizen with minimum of 60% marks in higher secondary.  Next he or she should pass B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ M.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Life Sciences with at least 60% (55% for SC Candidates of the state) marks or equivalent with valid GATE score.

Selection Procedure

The admission to the course is strictly done on the basis of the entrance test to be conducted by the institute. If the candidate is selected in the entrance examination then he or she needs to go through counseling and an interview, only then candidates will be selected for the course.
