Chhtrapati College of Veterinary Science is considered to be one of the top veterinary colleges in Maharashtra. This college holds an annual entrance examination for the admission purposes in its BVSc and AH courses, all based on veterinary science. The entrance examination consists of two phases each of one hundred marks and of two hours duration each.

Eligibility Criteria

•    The applicants must be a citizen of India.
•    The applicants must have resided in the state of Maharashtra for more than 12 years.
•    The aspirants must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent test.
•    The aspirant’s age must not be below 17 years and should not have crossed a maximum of 24 years as on the date of examination.

Selection Procedure

Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance examination. Those students who make through the test are then called for a special personal interview. These students are assessed carefully by a panel of respected personalities of the college including the director himself and then those who makes through this test are called for final admission. Aspirants belonging to the scheduled castes, scheduled tribe ad other back ward classes are given reserved seats for the admission to the various veterinary courses offered by this prestigious college.

•    Last date of submission of completely filled in application form- 03rd of December
•    Date of pre- luminary entrance test- 25th of April
•    Proposed date of final exam- 10th of May
•    Proposed date of result- Last week of August
