Entrance Exam 2009 India

COMEDK or Consortium of Medical Engineering Dental Colleges of Karnataka is a centralised examination which takes place in various centres for admission in to different colleges all across Karnataka in various dental and medical courses. The colleges which come under the affiliation of this exam are unaided and private medical colleges.

Eligibility Criteria

1.    The candidates appearing for COMEDK must have completed MBBS.
2.    The candidates must have successfully done internship from Rotary.

Examination Patter for COMEDK

Two examinations each of 180 MCQ type questions are held over the period of three years. For every correct answer, +1 mark is awarded and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Requirements along with application form:

The COMEDK application forms are available from their office at the amount of 600 INR and the same can be submitted along with the D.D at their office or any of their affiliated institutions.

There are few documents which need to be submitted along with the application forms which are as follows:

1.    Class 10+2 mark sheet’s photocopy
2.    Class 10 mark sheet photocopy
3.    Photocopy of the proof of the rank acquired in the COMEDK rank.

Proposed important dates

1. 1st week of December 2008 – Deadline for availability of application forms
2. 2nd week of January, 2009 — Deadline for receipt of completed application forms
3. 2nd week of February, 2009 – Written Examination
4. End of February, 2009 – Final result declaration
