FMGE
FMGE refers to a screening test. This screening test was incorporated first in the year 1992. The test is conducted for Indian Nationals who have Foreign Medical Qualifications so that they can get admitted to Medical Institutes. This exam is approved by the Government of India. This exam is also approved by the Medical Council of India. This exam is conducted two times in a year. This exam is open for anyone who is desirous of getting admitted to Medical Institutes and eligible for the programme. The screening test is conducted at New Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria
• Candidates must be an Indian National so that they can be eligible for this course.
• Candidates must have the Primary Medical Qualification and must have secured at least 55 % in aggregate to be eligible for this programme.
• Candidate must possess eligibility certificate from Medical Council of India to be eligible for this programme.
Selection Procedure
The candidates who wish to take admission into this Institute have to sit for an exam, which is conducted by the Institute. Examination will contain 300 multiple choice questions which will be divided in two tests 150 questions each. There will be no Negative Marking. Candidates will be passed if they obtain at least 50 % marks in the examination.
