Hotel Management Entrance Examination, Anna University

Anna University is an autonomous University that takes annual entrance exam for the hotel management course along with variety of other courses. The exam is of the national level and aspirants from all over India appear for this entrance test. The exam is taken in two different stages and has some of the toughest questions of General Knowledge and Data Interpretation. However, the best part is that the candidates securing first, second and third place in the entrance test are given scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be a citizen of India. The candidate who wants to appear for this test must have secured a minimum of 45% in their Higher Secondary Examination. He or She should have at least pass ion the English Language subject of this exam. The age range of the individual candidates should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 23 and half years as on the date of entrance exam.

Selection Procedure

Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance exam; candidates securing the highest marks are called for personal counseling session. Some seats are reserved for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and physically challenged candidates.

Last date of submission of admission form- 08th of December

Proposed date of entrance exam- Last week of April

Proposed date of declaration of result- First week of the month of June
