Hotel Management Entrance Examination, Delhi University

Delhi University is considered to be amongst the most important Universities that take an annual entrance exam for the Hotel Management course. The University offers both Bachelor’s as well as the Diploma degree in this course in various colleges of Delhi University that offers this course. The University has over 450 seats alone for the Bachelor’s quota.

Eligibility Criteria

•    Aspirants must be a citizen of India.
•    The applicants who belong to the general class have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in their Higher Secondary Examination, whereas applicants who belong to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribe have to secure 15% less in this exam.
•    The applicant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 24 years as on the 31st December of the previous year of their Higher Secondary Exam.

Selection Procedure

Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance examination. The applicants who have secured good marks in this entrance exam are then called for an interview. The applicants who have secured the highest over all marks in both the exam as well as in the interview are then called for a final admission. The aspirants who belong to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe are given reserved seats for direct admission in these exams. Domicile status plays an important role as the exam is of national level.
