Hotel Management Entrance Examination, Uttaranchal
The state of Uttaranchal takes an annual entrance exam for the admission in the course of Hotel Management. The exam is meant only for the domicile aspirants. The state University has three colleges in its belt for the proper development of this course. The state University has a Board comprising of eminent personality that takes various decisions, collectively relating to the conduction of the entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria
• Aspirants should be a citizen of India.
• The applicants must also be a resident of the state of Uttaranchal for more than 10 years.
• The aspirants must secure a minimum of 40% marks in their Higher Secondary Examination.
• The aspirants who belong to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribe classes have to secure 35% in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent test.
Selection Procedure
Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance exam. Those applicants who have passed this entrance exam are called for a personal interview. This interview is taken by that Board only. The aspirants who belong to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe classes are given special reserved seats through which they are directly called for admission. Those aspirants who have excelled themselves in the field of Science, Arts, Literature and Sports are also given reserved seats for admission in this University. These achievers can be from the state level or from the national level.
