Hotel Management Entrance Examination, Vishakhapatnam University
Vishakhapatnam University is considered to be amongst the most prominent Universities in India that takes an annual entrance examination for the course of Hotel Management. The test is taken on a state level under which aspirants from all over the state of Tamil Nadu appear. The examination is of high standard and is considered to be amongst the toughest in India.
Eligibility Criteria
• Aspirants should be a citizen of India.
• As the entrance exam is of state level, the aspirants should also be a domicile and has to be a resident of the state for more than 10 years.
• The age of the aspirants should range from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years as on 31st of the previous year of the entrance exam.
• The applicants must also have secured a minimum of 40% marks in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent test.
Selection Procedure
Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance exam. Those applicants who have passed this entrance exam are called for a personal amplitude test, taken by the Director as well as the Dean. Finally those applicants who have secured the highest marks in both the entrance as well as in the amplitude test are given the final admission call. Those applicants who belong to the scheduled caste and to the scheduled tribe classes are given some reserved seats for direct admission to this University.
