IHM Meerut is one of the oldest hotel management institutes in India. It was established in the year 1987, and possesses a very high esteem in the hotel management sector. The mission of the institute is to nurture the aspirants in the best possible way for the hotel management industry. The institute has a huge campus, well equipped with modern facilities. Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria for an aspirant to be eligible for IHM, Meerut are very ordinary and simple. Aspirants should have completed 10+2 or equivalent. Those aspirants, who are going to appear for their 10+2 examinations in 2009, are also eligible. There is no criterion on the nationality of the candidate. Thus, aspirants who are not the citizen of India are equally eligible, if they satisfy the above-mentioned criteria.
Selection procedure:
Admission in IHM, Meerut is made in accordance with BTE, UPTU Lucknow and SMU. The admission procedure involves a written test. The candidates qualifying the written test are then selected in accordance of their ranks. These written tests are conducted in different cities at different centre. Those candidates who have appeared for AIEEE or UPSEE are also eligible and can have a better chance of admission at IHM, Meerut.
