Aviation industry is the largest industry contributing towards the nations total Gross Domestic Products (GDP) and requires a high capital Investment for its proper growth. There are many examination held in India which helps oneself to attain CPL. amongst them is an examination hosted by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Academy (IGRUA).  It is a pilot training centre and takes a yearly exam, which gives CPL after one has successfully passed the exam and cleared various practical training included within the course.

Eligibility Criteria

•    Young aspirants trying to take such courses should have a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their Higher Secondary Examination.
•    Age should be between sixteen and a half to a maximum nineteen and for those who want to clear the course without scholarship should have attained an age of seventeen years.

Selection Procedure

The first step is to attain a SPL (Students Pilot License).The next step is to attain a PPL (Private Pilot License) which is given only after one has an experience of over 60 hours of flight. The aspirants should also simultaneously clear Theoretical examination in subjects such as air regulation, aviation metrological to name a few. After attaining PPL, one should gather a flight experience of 190 hours, which is a total of 250 hours, must be gathered. Not only theoretical but also medical test should be cleared. Averagely it takes about two to three years to attain CPL.
