Kerala Combined Entrance Examination for Veterinary Science (KEAM)

Veterinary course in state of Kerala are of a major hit amongst aspirants of this course. A yearly written exam is taken by the council of Kerala state to admit applicants in various veterinary colleges based in this state. Though there are fewer seats for this course but still Kerala has a few numbers of colleges that can accommodate a specified number of candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

•    Applicants appearing for this entrance test must be a citizen of India.
•    He or She must have secured an average mark of 50 in Physics, Biology and Chemistry in their Higher Secondary Examination of any state or its equivalent exam.
•    Aspirants must be of age of 18 years at the year of entrance examination and should not be of over age 24 years.
•    Further more any applicant can only give this examination twice.

Selection Procedure

After any applicants have passed the written examination, he or she must appear for a personal interview and then a series of group discussion takes place. A specified number of seats are reserved for those belonging to domicile criteria and furthermore seats are also reserved for those who have excelled themselves in the fields of Literature, sports and arts as according to the laws passed by the Indian Parliament. Specified quotas are also reserved for those who belong to scheduled castes and scheduled tribe category.
