Legal Nurse Consultant Certification or LNCC exam is one of the most sought after examination among the registered nurses, who wants to attain the level of consultancy and open up their opportunities and scopes in the medical-legal field. A Legal Nurse Consultant becomes a licensed one, who has received additional legal training. She can even consult on medical issues with doctors, clients and attorneys. LNCC exam helps nurses to perform and function well with a legal capacity.

Eligibility criteria:

* Applicants, who want to apply for this exam, should be a registered licensed nurse.
* Applicants should have at least 5 years employment.
* Applicants should have got functioning experience of at least 2000 hours as a legal nurse over a period of 3 years.

Selection Procedure

The total number of questions in the exam is 200 and all of them are MCQs i.e. Multiple Choice Questions. The test will continue for 4 hours and will cover specific fields of law, like medical negligence or malpractice, personal injury and risk management.

* LNCC exam is conducted twice every year, once during the spring and other in fall.
* The LNCC exam is held at almost 47 sites around USA.
* The examination fee is $275 for American Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Board members and $375 for non-members.
