M J P Rohilkhand University is a government based University that offers Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management course. The entrance exam for this course is taken on a yearly basis. The standard of the test is very high as aspirants from all over the state appear to fair well in this exam.
Eligibility Criteria
• Aspirants must be a citizen of India, and have to be a resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh for more than ten years.
• The aspirants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent test. The aspirant’s age limit should range from a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 22 years as on the date of entrance exam.
• The upper age limit of the aspirants who belong to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribe class is raised to 26 years.
Selection Procedure
Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance exam. Only those candidates are called for the final admissions who have excelled in this exam. The aspirants who belong to the schedule caste and schedule tribe classes are given reserved seats during the admission process. Further more, the candidates who have also excelled in some form of Arts, Literature, Sports, and Science from the state are also given reserved seats during the admission process.
