Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Kashmere Gate, Delhi, is a state University established by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). This NAAC-A rated institute is recognized and funded by UGC. It provides M.Tech in Nano Science & Technology in a 2 year full time program. But it has only limited number of 15 seats.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the course a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree and Mathematics at higher secondary level is a must. Then applicant requires a BE/ B. Tech. (Electronics/ Computer Science/ Electrical/ Mechanical/Engineering Physics/ Metallurgy/ Material Engineering./ Information Technology/ Biotechnology/ Chemical Engineering or Technology) or otherwise M. Sc. (Physics/ Applied Physics/ Electronics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biosciences/ Life Sciences) degree.

Selection Procedure

The admission is strictly based on GATE Score. After getting the GATE score one needs to apply to the university on specified forms that is to be procured from the university within a specified date.

Last date of GATE form distribution-Last week of October
Proposed date of examination-  First or second Sunday of Feb
Proposed date of result-   Mid of March
Last date of applying to the university- last week of June
