National Chemical Laboratory, Pune

National Chemical Laboratory in Pune is a central institute and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is recognized and funded by UGC. It provides a 2 year full time M.Tech course in Nanotechnology.

Eligibility Criteria

Firstly the applicant must be an Indian citizen and then the applicant is considered eligible for the course if he/she has at least 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC Category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST and PD Category candidates in the qualifying degree that includes B.E. / B.Tech degree in Biotechnology/ Biomedical Engg. / Bioinformatics/ Chemical Engg. or M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology / Chemistry
Selection Procedure

The admission to the course is done on the basis of the entrance test to be conducted by the NCL each year. If the candidate is selected in the entrance examination then he or she needs to go through counseling and an interview, only then candidates will be selected for the course. Preference will be given to GATE score holders.
