The full form of NIMHANS is National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences. NIMHANS invites all those aspiring candidates who desire to go for research based programmes. This Institute is situated in Bangalore. The Institute has also got the status of a Deemed University. This Institute conducts an entrance exam for the in take of students.

Diploma Courses
Diploma in Neurological and Neuro surgical Nursing (DNN) and Psychiatric Nursing (DPN)
Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates who are appearing for the exam should not be more than 32 years of age.
• Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree from any of the recognized University.
• Candidates should have scored at least 55% marks in aggregate in their Graduation.
• SC/ST candidates will be given a rebate of 5 % in their aggregate marks.
