NLSIU or National Law School India University is situated at Bangalore, capital of Karnataka.  NLSIU is the 1st LAW School which was established by the government of Karnataka in the year 1986. NLSIU is among the top rated LAW Schools in India which provides legal education to the candidates who get admission into this college. NLSIU has got huge support from some of the leading judges and lawyers of India who give their valuable time to this LAW school for better legal education to its students. LLM program with specialization in Human Right Laws and Business Laws is also offered by NLSIU.

Eligibility Criteria

•    Candidates must have passed class 12 from any of the recognized institutes with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
•    Maximum age for the candidates appearing for the CLAT exam must not be more 20 years.
•    SC/ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 2 years.
•    Candidates who will appear for their class 12 examination are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam
•    Candidates applying for the LLM program must have passed LLB course from any of the recognized University with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate.
•    Final year students can also apply for LLM program.

Selection Procedure

The admission to this LAW school is based on the performance of the students in the CLAT i.e. Common Law Admission Test.
