NUALS 2009
National University of Advanced Legal Studies i.e. NUALS is a very new inclusion among the LAW colleges of India. NUALS was established by the Kerala Legislature in the year 2005 i.e. three year back this LAW school came into being. NUALS offers 5 years BA, LLB (Hons.) course to the aspiring candidates. A separate exam is conducted to take admission to the LLB course. The total number of seats is 65 of which only 5 seats are reserved for the outsiders i.e. non-Keralans. Some seats are also reserved for the SC/ST candidates, which will be declared by the University.
Eligibility Criteria
• Candidates must have passed class 12 from any of the recognized institutes with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
• SC/ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.
Selection Procedure
NUALS conducts its own entrance exam. The exam is of 3 hours duration and covers General Knowledge, Legal Studies Aptitude, General English and Logical and Numerical Reasoning. As the seats are very less very few candidates with high score in the entrance exam get selected for the admission.
