Entrance Exam 2009 India

PMET or Punjab Medical Entrance test is the medical examination which is basically meant for all the admission in the medical colleges across the state of Punjab in India. The medical courses like MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS come under the blanket covered by PMET. It is conducted Baba Farid University of Health Sciences located in Faridkot which it takes place actually on behalf of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

Pattern of Examination

The Examination will be based on syllabus of class 12 basically containing MCQs from Physics, chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The negative marking is -1 for incorrect answers and +4 for the correct ones. The total number of questions will be 200 consisting of 50 each from above mentioned subjects and the duration for the exam will be two and half hours.

Eligibility criteria

The candidate has to clear class 12th board examination from a recognised board or an equivalent examination. The candidate must have PCB as his/her subjects in last three years of his/her education. For any further details please contact university office.
