Presidency College Kolkata, Mass Comm. 2009
Mass Communication course for both Post Graduate level and Under Graduate level are offered in the Kolkata’s famous Presidency College. These courses are designed for easy interpretation and sharing of various general human natures as well as communication trends. However, Post Graduation course is more in a demand as compared to the Under Graduate course. Students are taking these courses with great vigor because career in these fields are offering them lime light as well as great opportunities.
Eligibility
Applicants applying for this course must be a citizen of India. He or She must be 17 and 1/2 years old for UG course on the date of admission and 20 years for PG course. Applicants must have secured a minimum of 78% in English in their Higher Secondary Examination for UG course and a minimum of 60% in their graduation level for PG course in any discipline. In this college too the PG course is more in a demand as compared to UG.
Selection Procedure
Applicants are invited for a special written exam for both UG and PG course. Candidates who scores cutoff marks in the exam are then called for a Personal Interview. The students, who have excelled in both the form of admission tests are then short listed and called for a final Interview along with their parents. Then these applicants are finally admitted to this college under specified courses.
