Entrance Exam 2009 India

The full form of RMCAAT is Rajasthan Masters of Computer Application Admission Test. Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) conducts the entrance test. RMCAAT is one of the most sought after exams among the students of Rajasthan who want to pursue their higher education in MCA i.e. Masters of Computer Application. The MCA course is provided by the University only to those candidates who scores minimum cutoff marks decided by the University.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic

•    Candidates must have a minimum 3 years bachelor’s degree from any of the recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

•    Candidates must have studied Mathematics in class 12.

•     Final year students can also apply for the entrance exam.

Domicile

Candidates who have domicile of Rajasthan can only apply for RMCAAT.

•    Candidates or candidate’s parents must be a permanent resident of the state of Rajasthan. Or

•     Candidate has studied in any of the recognized institutions of Rajasthan as a regular student.

Selection Procedure

The exam contains 200, 1 mark questions. Questions will be MCQ type with no negative marking. The paper contains 60 questions from Mathematics, 60 from Elementary Computer Knowledge and 80 questions from Aptitude and Reasoning.

Important Dates

•    Application form availability: last week of April 2009

•    Last date for submission of complete filled-in application form: mid May 2009

•    Entrance exam date: mid June 2009

•    Result declaration: 1st week of July 2009

•    Beginning of session: mid August 2009
