Sardar Patel University
Sardar Patel University provides Post Graduation Medical Program to the aspiring candidates. The entire process is carried out by Charotar Arogya Mandal, which is located in Karamsad in the state of Gujarat. The University offers post Graduation courses as well as Diploma courses. In accordance with the Supreme Court’s judgment, 15% of the total seats are reserved for the NRI students or NRI sponsored students.
Courses Offered
• MD/ MS (3 years degree courses)
• 2 years Diploma courses
• 2 years M.Sc. (Medical) courses.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates must have completed their MBBs degree from any of the recognized University and must have registered permanently with the Medical Council of India.
• For foreign students, they have to obtain a temporary registration from the Medical Council of India. The registration will be limited only till the duration of the course and that too at Pramukhswami Medical College, in which they will be admitted.
Selection Procedure:
An entrance exam is conducted, on behalf of Sardar Patel University, by the college for admitting students into this University. Candidate’s performance in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd MBBS exam is also considered. Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in the entrance exam.
