Through the post of Section Officer you may have the pleasure of working under the Auditor General of the country. The central government conducts a competitive examination as selection procedure for these posts.

Eligibility Criteria

There is no prescribed age limit or educational qualification to appear in this examination. The only requirement is that the candidate should be working on the post of Assistant under the Central Secretariat, Armed Forces Headquarters, Railway Board Secretariat or Intelligence Bureau.

Selection Procedure

An application form is issued by the Union Public Service Commission Board of India. In the examination, first of all essays are required to be written on the given topics which has been grouped as Part A. After that, in Part B an assessment of 100 marks is done on 5 years CRs. A total of the marks obtained in both parts bring out the final result.
