Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy University, Tamil Nadu offers a 2 year M.Tech in Nanotechnology. In this full time course the students are given first hand training in Nanotechnology courses so that they can meet the requirements of the increasing need of nanotechnology experts in this fast emerging field.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant is considered eligible for the course if he/she has at least 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC Category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST and PD Category candidates in the qualifying degree that includes B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Biotechnology / Biomedical Engg. / Bioinformatics / Chemical Engg. or M.Sc. Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Chemistry
Selection Procedure
A written entrance examination is compulsory for the candidates. If the candidate is selected in the entrance examination then he or she needs to go through group discussions and then an interview, only then candidates will be selected for the course. Admissions to P.G. programs will be based on the overall percentage of marks secured in the qualifying UG/PG degree. Preference will be given to GATE score holders.
