South Bengal College of Veterinary Science
South Bengal College of Veterinary science is a private veterinary college that takes entrance examination for the admission process. This college holds this examination on a state level, but aspirants from the state of Tripura as well as Mizoram are also allowed to appear for this examination. This entrance examination is for the state level aspirants only and no national level examination is taken.
Eligibility Criteria
• Aspirants should have an Indian nationality.
• He or She should have resided in the state of West Bengal for more than 12 years.
• The applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, chemistry and Biology in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent.
• Applicant’s age must not be below 17 years and above 24 years as on the date of entrance examination.
Selection Procedure
Applicants have to appear for a special written entrance examination. After passing of this entrance examination, they are called for a personal interview. Those applicants who have secured good marks in both entrance exam as well as in the interview are given admission to this prestigious college. Domicile aspirants and aspirants who belong to Scheduled castes, scheduled Tribe as well from Other Back ward classes are given special reserved seats. Further more Domicile applicants who are physically challenged are given special reserved seats as well as many other incentives.
