Entrance Exam 2009 India

Sri Ramchandra Medical College and Research Institute or SRMC is situated in Chennai. The examination is conducted every year for admission to number of Medical and Dental courses. Sri Ramchandra Medical College and Rsearch Institute was established in the year 1985. The University is doing very well since its establishment. The University also became a Deemed University in the year 1994.

Eligibility Criteria

There are five different groups for the Post Graduate courses and eligibility criteria are different for different groups.
•    Group A courses: candidates must have M.D. (Pediatrics) or M.D. (General Medicine) or any other equivalent qualification.
•    Group B courses: candidates must have M.S. in General Surgery or any other equivalent qualification.
•    Group C and D courses: candidates must have completed MBBS course and must have undergone the rotatory internship.
•    Group E courses: candidates must have completed BDS course and must have undergone rotatory internship.

Selection Procedure

Students have to sit for an entrance exam conducted by the University and the qualified candidates are eligible to take admission into various courses offered by the University.

•    Application form availability: last week of November 2008
•    Last date for submission of complete filled-in application form: last week of December 2008
•    Entrance date: 3rd week of January 2008 (morning time for group A,B,C,E and afternoon time for group D)
