UPMT 2009
UPMT stands for Uttaranchal Pre Medical Test. Uttaranchal Pre Medical Test are held for admission to a variety of medical courses in government as well as private colleges of Uttaranchal. This examination is conducted by UCEE, an association of Private Unaided Medical, denial Ayurvedic and Homeopathic colleges of Uttarakhand. Apart from Uttaranchal, the examination is also conducted in Delhi and Lucknow. This examination gives an extra option for the medical aspirants of Uttaranchal who could not fair well in all India level exams.
Eligibility Criteria
• Minimum age: 17 years
• Candidates who want to pursue MBBS or BDS courses must have passed 12th examination or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Candidates must have PCB and English in their class 12 courses.
• Candidates appearing for BHMS and BAMS examination must have passed class 12 with PCB.
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure is same as that of the other competitive examinations and depends quite a lot on the performance of the candidates in the UPMT.

• Application form availability: April to mid May 2009
• Last date for submission of complete filled-in application form: May 2009
• Entrance date: last week of May 2009 (proposed)
• Result declaration: mid June 2009
