UPPGMEE 2009
Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination i.e. UPPGMEE is conducted every year for admission to Diploma courses like MDS and MD/MS/PG in various colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who will clear this entrance examination will be eligible for admission to the Medical Colleges of Allahabad, Agra, Kanpur, Jhansi, Meerut, Gorakhpur and Medical/Dental faculty of CSM Medical University, Lucknow. Though this examination gives admission to Diploma courses, the number of students is quite good.
Eligibility Criteria
• Candidates who have completed MBBS/BDS courses from Uttar Pradesh are eligible to appear for the exam.
• Candidates who are already doing diploma course somewhere else and are willing to purse the same degree course and that too in the same field can also apply.
• Compulsory Rotatory Training is a must for the appearing candidates.
Selection Procedure
The selection is through an examination which is divided into two papers of two hours each. The timing foe first paper will be 11.00am to 1.00pm and the timing for second paper will be 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
