Veterinary Entrance Examination, Mysore University
Mysore University holds an annual entrance examination for its 225 seats in its 2 government based veterinary college. This University has a history of bringing out high standard veterinary doctors and medical students. This entrance examination is given by aspirants from all over Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The exam consists of two phases namely pre luminary and Final.
Eligibility Criteria
• Aspirants must be a citizen of India and should not belong to the state of Jammu & Kashmir as per the law of the Indian Constitution.
• He or She must secure a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent test.
• The age of the aspirants must not be below 17 years and should not have crossed a maximum of 24 years as on the date of entrance examination.
Selection Procedure
Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance examination. Those candidates who have successfully passed this entrance examination are then called for a personal interview. These candidates are then called for final admission process. Seats are also reserved for scheduled castes and scheduled tribe candidates. Domicile status plays a very major role during the admission process. Special seats are also reserved for those who are physically challenged and those who have excelled themselves in the fields of Literature, Arts, Sports and Science from the two states only.
