Veterinary Entrance Examination, Vellore University
A very famous entrance examination is conducted by Vellore University on a yearly basis. This privately owned University is considered as the most famous privately owned veterinary colleges holding such entrance examination. There are over 150 seats for the admission in these courses. Eligibility Criteria
• Aspirants should be an Indian nationalist.
• He or She should not be over 17 years of age and should be below 23 years as on the date of examination.
• Applicants must also secure a minimum of 60% in their Higher Secondary Examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
• Aspirants should not belong to the state of Jammu and Kashmir unless a special affidavit has being attained by them from the state court.
Selection Procedure
Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance examination which consists of no negative marks. After making through the exam they are called for a special personal interview. A special quota of seats is reserved for scheduled castes and scheduled tribe aspirants. Domicile aspirants are given a little advantageous position in this entrance examination. Admission is only made to this university after assessing the overall marks of the individual of both the entrance exam and personal interview by a special panel of selectors appointed by the university itself.
