Vidyapeeth College of Veterinary Science
An annual veterinary entrance examination is conducted by Vidyapeeth College of Veterinary Science for admission in its 120 seats in veterinary science. Aspirants prepare day and night for this examination to secure high marks. This college has a history of making veterinary doctors of high standard comparable to international level.
Eligibility Criteria
• Aspirants must be a citizen of India, though they should not belong to the state of Jammu & Kashmir as well from the state of Andhra Pradesh as per the laws of Indian Constitution.
• Applicants should have secured a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent.
• Applicants belonging to scheduled castes, and scheduled tribe class have to secure 10% less in the above said examination as compared to the general class applicants.
• Domicile applicants are given advantageous position in this examination.
Selection Procedure
Applicants have to appear for a written entrance examination. After they have passed this examination they have to appear for a personal interview taken by a panel of Individuals comprising of principal, Vice Chancellor and others such. A reserved quota of seats is reserved for those aspirants who belong to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes. Applicants who are physically challenged are also given reserved seats. Domicile status of the selected applicants play an important role during the final selection process.
