Westcoast Institute of Management is a privately based college that takes annual entrance exam at the state level. The standard of the exam that it takes is exceptionally high and is primarily for those that could not make it grand on the national level entrance test. The exam is of two stages and has Multiple as well as Essay type questions; and the candidate need to score well in both the stages.

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants who want to take admission in this institute have to be a citizen of India. Since the entrance exam is of state level hence domicile status is the key role in providing the admission. The candidates have to be a resident of the sate of Maharashtra for over 12 years. The age range of the interested candidates should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 24 years and should have secured a minimum of 45% in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent test.

Selection Procedure

The aspiring candidate has to appear for a written entrance exam. Candidates securing the minimum cut off marks are called for admission interviews and amongst them; those securing the highest marks are given the final admission call. Aspirants who belong to the depressed class are given reserved seats under the Reservation quota. The candidates that have excelled themselves in some field are also certified under the Reservation quota.
